Stormwater Pond Restoration Project
Project Information – The pond is located in a public park bordered by on the north by 10th Street and on the east by US 301 in the City of Sarasota. The pond is owned by the City and maintained by Sarasota County. In 2007 the Gillespie Park NEST group applied for and was given a grant by the Southwest Florida Water Management District to perform a shoreline restoration project. Details of the grant are provided below:
