Pollutant Trading Policy Advisory Committee - Ongoing Meetings Being Hosted by DEP

Florida's Total Maximum Daily Load program will improve water quality by reducing pollutant discharges. To achieve these goals, the Florida Department of Environmental Protection recognizes that it must be a collaborative effort and that pollutant trading can be an important part. The committee is studying pollutant trading programs from around the nation and accepting comments from the public. DEP may eventually propose a rule for pollutant trading in Florida.
