New Water Heritage Oral Histories Are Online!

Students at New College of Florida have created seven more oral histories that celebrate Sarasota's rich water heritage. Three of these interviews highlight the importance of commercial and recreational fisheries to the area's economy. Others who tell their stories are the director of a historical museum, a park ranger/naturalist, an environmental activist, and a conservation-minded rancher, all of whom share their perspectives on the importance of protecting our natural resources.
