SBEP Mourns Loss of CAC Member Jack Taylor

Our community lost a great friend and respected environmentalist with the passing of Jack Taylor on September 21. Jack led the Sarasota Bay Estuary Program's Bay Wise Kayak Tour Program for many years and served on the organization's Citizens Advisory Committee. He inspired numerous people with his knowledge and passion for Sarasota Bay and wildlife in every form. A well-attended Celebration of Life service was held in his honor at Mote Marine Laboratory on October 29.

Sadly, during 2010 SBEP also lost three other members of the CAC: Don Chaney, Charles Hegener, and John Morrill.
