New College, Sarasota County to Unveil New Oral Histories Jan. 27th

Join New College of Sarasota and Sarasota County at a reception celebrating "Our Water Heritage" from 6-8 p.m. on Thursday, January 27th, at the Sarasota Garden Club, 1131 Boulevard of the Arts.

The event will celebrate the debut of six new "water heritage" oral histories, interviews conducted with area residents whose lives and livelihoods are intimately connected to our water resources. These informative and entertaining oral histories will soon be hosted right here on your Sarasota Water Atlas!

The oral history slideshows will each be introduced, light refreshments will be served, and attendees can mix and mingle with the interview subjects, students, and fellow water heritage fans.
