"Coral: Rekindling Venus" examines environmental perils threatening reefs
The fascinating underwater world of coral comes to life in "Coral: Rekindling Venus," a new film playing for a limited time in the Bishop Planetarium Theater from January 19 to February 17. The film by Lynette Wallworth was accepted for the 2013 Sundance Film Festival and is a beautiful exploration of coral reef ecosystems and their struggles to cope with environmental stresses including rising ocean temperatures. Bishop Planetarium is part of the South Florida Museum in Bradenton.
The show is included in general museum admission and will play:
— Monday - Friday at 2:15 p.m.
— Saturday at 11:15 a.m.
— Sunday at 2:15 p.m.
