Tidy up with the Newtown/Beverly Terrace Community Cleanup

It's time to clean out the garage and gather discarded household items, junk and yard waste. Sarasota County will hold its annual free community cleanup in the Newtown/Beverly Terrace area from 8 a.m. to noon, Saturday, Jan. 28.

Dumpsters will be available for your convenience at the following locations:

• Newtown Estates Park and Dr. Martin Luther King Way (Main Site).
• 44th Street and Lockwood Ridge Road.
• 23rd Street and Chester Avenue.

Sarasota County staff will be at the main site to accept hazardous materials, electronics, TVs and computers. For more information call the Sarasota County Contact Center at 941-861-5000.
