NEST volunteers make improvements at Lake Faun

On May 19, 2018, the Neighborhood Environmental Stewardship Team partnered with the South Venice Water Quality Task Force to rid Skip Stasko park of trash and help improve both the water quality and wildlife utilization in Faun Lake. Volunteers planted 230 feet of shoreline with 535 plants in just over 2 hours. Plants in the water can help keep the water clean and clear before it heads into our beautiful bays.
